NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Vanderbilt basketball's home opener vs. Austin Peay on Friday stands to be historic. If the Commodores knocked down a 3-pointer, it will be the program's 1,000th consecutive game with a 3-pointer, a streak that remains important to Dores fans.
To discuss the streak, the Commodore Insider Podcast caught up with two of the best 3-point artists in program history in Barry Booker and Shan Foster. Booker ranks first in program history in career 3-point percentage (.460) while Foster ranks first in Vanderbilt history in career threes made (367). The duo discusses the 3-point streak's importance to Vanderbilt, how the 3-pointer impacted their respective careers and much more.
