2006-07 (Junior): Named All-SEC First Team after going 10-1 in conference singles...Chosen to SEC Community Service Team for her work with Preston Taylor Ministries...Taylor was named SEC Player of the Week after her undefeated singles performance at the ITA Team Indoors Tournament...Played most of the season at No. 2 singles finishing with a 25-5 overall record...ITA Singles ranking ascended to No. 28 before finishing the year ranked 32nd...Partnered with Amanda Fish in doubles and rose as high to No. 9 in the ITA Doubles Rankings, earning 2007 ITA Doubles All-America honors...Earned ITA All-Academic honors for her work in the classroom...Advanced to semifinals of 2007 ITA National Summer Championships. 2005-06 (Sophomore):After playing mostly No. 5 singles in 2004, Taylor went 22-5 at No. 3 in 2006... 2004-05 (Freshman): Finished 19-5 in singles playing mostly in the fourth and fifth positions ... Went 20-7 in doubles while teamed with freshman Croline Ferrell and senior Audra Falk ... Earned All-SEC Second Team honors with a 9-2 league record ... Selected to play in the NCAA Doubles Championship with teammate Falk ... Over the summer, she won the Midwest Regional of the USTA/ITA Summer Hard Court National Chamnpionship.
Prep/Juniors: Led Richland High school to five state titles ... won one doubles championship with suster Rachel when she was a freshman at Chillicothe High School ... won four singles titles at Richland ... Awarded team MVP all five season and coaches award in her sophomore, junior and senior year ... Team captain junior and senior year ... won Ron Shearer award freshman year ... finished with a perfect every season at Richland ... holds record for most matches won by any player at Richland ... Also played softball and volleyball ... received five letters in tennis ... member of National Honor Society with a 3.9 GPA in high school ... finished in the top 5% of her class ... member of student council and executive council.
