KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Vanderbilt men's tennis team will head to east to Knoxville for the 2013 USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships, beginning on Friday. The tournament will run across five days and feature some of the best players from around the region.
"We've put together some great practices going into this weekend," said VU head coach Ian Duvenhage. "The guys are playing some great tennis right now. This will be a huge opportunity for us, our guys will be playing a lot of really good competition and this will be a great time for us to prove how good we can really be."
The winner of the doubles main draw and the finalists in the singles main draw will automatically qualify themselves for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships in early November.
