Men's tennis kicked off the 2016 Commodore Scramble on Friday morning going undefeated in all 16 singles matches.
In addition to the team honors, five WT student-athletes and three MT student-athletes received nods by the governing body as ITA Scholar Athletes.
Vanderbilt will begin their spring dual season with matches against Furman and Lipscomb at home on January 16th, 2016.
Valent, Ross, Newman and Binet all head into the final day of tournament action undefeated in singles action.
