Attended Spring Valley High School in Columbia, S.C...Injured in his senior season and did not compete...Was his team's MVP three times, was named to the All-Region team twice, and was the 2010 South Carolina-Georgia Cup medalist...His Spring Valley High School team won the 2009 Region Championship, the 2009 Ninety-Six Classic, and the 2009 Hartman Memorial; finished as the runner-ups at the 2009 Palmetto Golf Championship and the 2009 Capital City Classic...Had seven top-20 AJGA finishes in his junior career, including a second place at the 2010 North & South Junior Championship and a fifth (2009) and 11th place finish at the Bobby Chapman Invitational.
