Multipurpose facility, recreation center construction

The sounds of heavy machinery have been a constant near Vanderbilt's athletic facilities for nearly a year. First it was the McGugin Center, then Vanderbilt Stadium, Memorial Gym and Hawkins Field. Now, a little more than 100 yards south of McGugin Center, dump trucks, tractors, diggers and bulldozers can be heard working every day on Vanderbilt's multipurpose facility and addition to the recreation center.
