Hebert earned his first collegiate action as a redshirt freshman, seeing action in four games as an outside linebacker... Credited with a tackle in victory over Western Kentucky... First action as a Commodore came at Florida... Also played against South Carolina and Kentucky... Continued to add bulk and strength during second year on campus.

Hebert did not play as a true freshman... Impressed during fall practices as a defensive scout outside linebacker.
