2008-09 Vanderbilt Faculty/Staff Tickets

"The Faculty-staff payroll deduction program has been a very easy, affordable and engaging way to see Vanderbilt Athletics in action. The monthly deductions are hardly noticeable and it's really convenient having season tickets to more than one sport. Joining the program and attending games all year is a great way to be a part of the Vanderbilt community."
-- Trey Truitt, Housing and Residential Education

Sign-up now for Vanderbilt's Faculty-Staff payroll deduction program. Deductions will come out of your Vanderbilt check once each month during the 2008-09 calendar year. If you are only ordering tickets for one sport, deductions will be paid over a two-month period. However, if you purchase tickets for more than one sport (i.e. purchase a $30 women's basketball ticket in addition to your football ticket), the total cost will come out over a 10-month period beginning with September 2008 and concluding in June 2009. Only tickets can be payroll deducted.

Deadline for payroll deduction is August 21, 2008. No one may pay through payroll deduction for tickets after that date. Please call the ticket office at 615-322-3746 for questions.

Note: The Vanderbilt Ticket Office does not receive any orders via fax. Please either call the ticket office at (615) 322-GOLD, visit us online at vucommodores.com or just stop by and see us. Vanderbilt full-time faculty and staff members who are ordering tickets for the first time will need to come to the ticket office in person to show their Vanderbilt ID badges or to drop off Payroll Deduction forms.

Payroll deduction is now complete for 2008-09 seasons. Please check back this spring for next fall's information.

Football, men's basketball, women's basketball, and baseball season tickets are offered to full-time Faculty and Staff personnel at a reduced rate.

Faculty and Staff is defined as those individuals whose personnel records, pay and taxable income withholdings are maintained and performed by Vanderbilt University. Individuals employed by other agencies with association to Vanderbilt University are considered employees of that agency and not Vanderbilt University.

The difference of the full-priced season ticket and the reduced rate season ticket is considered a taxable benefit by the Internal Revenue Code. This difference will be recorded as income and will be displayed on your paycheck receipt under taxable income. This may cause a slight reduction in your income for the pay period designated for the withholding.

A limited number of seats are available at the Faculty and Staff rate. Priority is given to those Faculty and Staff members who contribute to the National Commodore Club and to those that purchased season tickets for the previous season.

Any questions regarding the purchase of Faculty and Staff Season tickets can be answered by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 2-GOLD.
