The Gautreaux File
Eva Gautreaux prepped at Houston High School and owns a prep-best time of 55.70 in the 400 meters. The top-ranked 400-meter runner in Tennessee in 2023, she was the TSAA AAA indoor and outdoor champion in the 400 meters and the section champion in the same event. In 2021 and 2022, Gautreaux was the bronze medalist in the 400 meters at the state championships. While in high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society and an Honors Academy graduate. Gautreaux also graduated Summa Cum Laude.
