The Vanderbilt men's and women's cross country teams hosted their annual Commodore Classic at Percy Warner Park, with the men finishing ninth and the freshmen women leading the way to a fourth place finish.

Amira Joseph placed seventh overall in the 5K with a time of 18:18, leading the women across the line. Claire Benjamin, with her time of 18:39, was the second Commodore to cross, coming in 16th, with Rebecca Chandler finishing 24th with a time of 18:47.
