2017 Cross Country:Consistently Vanderbilt’s top runner throughout the season … Placed 19th at the NCAA South Regional which earned her a spot on the NCAA All-Region team … three top-20 finishes on the season … Placed third at the Belmont Opener with a time of 17:50.815 … Placed ninth at the Commodore Classic with a time of 17:47.8, for her second top 10 finish in the first two races … Ran a 17:38.79 at the Louisville Classic for a 65th place finish … Led the Dores at the prestigious Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, ran a 21.35.5 in the loaded Championship Division field … Placed 27th at the SEC Championships with a time of 21.15.6 … Paced the women at the NCAA South Regional with a time of 20:31.2- a season best.

Personal: Daughter of Teresa and Vince Criscione. Sister to Bella (12) and Vinnie (18). Maddie's dad was in the Air Force after college and in the circus for a brief period of time. Maddie's mom studied law at UC and owned an ice cream shop in California.
