Clayton and Bell became the first Commodore duo to take home First Team Outdoor All-American honors in the same season since 2004, when VU hall-of-famer Josie Reynolds and Erika Schneble accomplished the feat. Caleigh Lofstead also earned All-SEC Freshman team honors during the 2017 outdoor season en route to NCAA Regional qualification, where she was joined by teammates Bell, Clayton, Regan Bustamante and Jenn Edobi.
