NASHVILLE -- Courtney Clayton is the Vanderbilt record-holder in the indoor and outdoor 800 meters and most recently capped a fourth-place finish in the event at the SEC Outdoor Championships last week. Clayton, who graduated from Vanderbilt on Tuesday, has fought through injury for much of her career but managed to earn First-Team All-America honors at NCAA Outdoors last season.

Next week, Clayton will compete for another shot at a berth in the NCAA Championships at the NCAA East Regionals. But first, she joined the Commodore Insider Podcast to reflect on her Vanderbilt career, how she has bounced back from injury, her new degree and much more.
