Track travels to Gainesville for Florida Relays

Commodores coming off strong showing at home

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Vanderbilt women's track team will compete at the Pepsi Florida Relays, hosted by the University of Florida, on Friday and Saturday in Gainesville, Fla.

The `Dores are coming off their first home meet in nearly two years, racking up eight first place finishes, highlighted by Anna Carr's school-record breaking 100 meter dash. The Destin, Fla native sprinted her way to first place, finishing in 11.92, eclipsing the 11.93 Vanderbilt mark set by Andrea Rosemond in 2005.
