Sellyn in Wimbledon Juniors

Scottish incoming freshmen set to play in girls' singles and doubles at The Championships.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Vanderbilt women's tennis incoming freshman Georgina Sellyn has qualified for the juniors draw at The Championships at Wimbledon.

Sellyn will play her opening round singles match on Monday, July 2, against Germany's Anotnia Lottner. It will be the third match on Court 19, with play starting at 5:00 a.m. CDT (11:00 a.m. in London).

Sellyn will also play on Court 19 during the opening round of the doubles draw, when she joins with fellow United Kindgom representative Lana Rush to take on Varvara Flink (Russia) and Antonia Lottner (Germany). The doubles match will be the sixth and final match of the day on Court 19.

Sellyn is a native of Glasgow, Scotland, but trains state-side in Bradenton, Fla. Earlier this year, she represented Great Britain at the European Championships.
