Commodores to host 2015 ITA Kick-off

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - After earning a trip the ITA National Team Indoor tournament on the road last season the Vanderbilt women's tennis team will get the opportunity to do it again - this time at home. Vanderbilt will be one of 15 host sites for the 2015 ITA Kick-off weekend and will host Texas, DePaul and Harvard.

Vanderbilt the top-seed in the tournament will open up against No. 54 and fourth-seeded Harvard. The No. 2 seed and 22nd-ranked Texas will take on DePaul who is currently ranked No. 50 and will be the three seed.

Texas finished the season with a record of 13-13 and made it to the second round the NCAA Tournament before falling to Texas A&M.

DePaul ended the season with an outstanding record of 22-4. The Blue Demons went 4-0 in Big East play and won the conference tournament. In the NCAA tournament DePaul fell in the first round to Notre Dame.

Harvard finished the year with a record of 11-8. The Crimson went 3-4 in Ivy League play and posted a clip of 3-6 on the road.

The winner from each of the 15 regional sites will earn a bid to the 2015 ITA National Team Indoor Championship at the University of Illinois.
