NASHVILLE, Tenn. - After defeating No. 9 Northwestern to open the season last week, the Vanderbilt women's tennis team saw their ranking jump seven places in the latest Campbell's/ITA College Tennis Poll. The Commodores stand at No. 19 with a 1-0 record.

The top eight teams in the poll remained unchanged after the first week, with Stanford, Florida and Baylor headlining the top three. Along with Florida and Vanderbilt, three other SEC teams are ranked in the top 20 - Tennessee (No. 12), Georgia (No. 15) and Ole Miss (No. 17).

The Commodores travel to Clemson, S.C. this weekend to play in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. Vanderbilt faces Marshall in the first round and either Clemson or Dartmouth in the second round.
