Collegiate Tennis Scoring: Seven total points are awarded during head-to-head matches. The first team to score four points wins the contest. First, three doubles matches are played (one proset to eight format) and the school that takes at least two out of the three matches will be awarded one overall point. Once doubles play concludes, the other six points are awarded during singles play, one for each individual match. The singles play format is a best two out of three sets format.
