The Commodores stand in a three-way tie for sixth place in the Southeastern Conference standings after taking 10 points in the past two weeks. The top eight teams earn berths in the 2010 SEC Tournament in Orange Beach, Ala.

Senior goalkeeper Rachel Bachtel is the reigning SEC Defensive Player of the Week after recording 13 saves and her sixth shutout of the season last weekend as VU took four points from Auburn and Alabama.

Senior Molly Kinsella was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week after Vanderbilt victories against Arkansas and LSU. The Memphis product is tied with her twin sister, Megan, for the team lead in the points and assists.

Junior Candace West has scored a team-best four goals for the Commodores, edging out a group of five players that have tallied three goals each (both Kinsellas, senior Nicole Adams, and sophomores C.J. Rhoades and Dana Schwartz).
