NASHVILLE - Head Coach Derek Greene took a moment prior to practice Tuesday to speak with vucommodores.com about the Commodore soccer team's upcoming home game against No. 11 Memphis (Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. CT). Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods to the game to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee as part of the Southeastern's Conference's "Together We CAN" initiative.

The Commodores enjoyed their first Sunday off in nearly a month following Friday's 1-0 victory over MTSU. This weekend marks the final two games of the non-conference season before VU opens SEC play with its first four league games on the road.
