2016: Started 12 games, while competing in all 19 competitions… Earned 976 minutes of playing time… Accumulated 12 points on the year, on four shots and four assists… Tied with Simmons with team-high shots on goal at 15 on 30 shots… Earned one game-winning goal, which came in double-overtime against in-state rival, Tennessee, in the 102nd minute… Earned assist against No. 2 South Carolina to force overtime… First Commodore goal came in team’s first goal of the 2016 season versus Miami (Ohio).

 Began playing soccer at the age of four… played club for Troy Garner at Tophat SC… came to Vanderbilt because, “I fell in love with the school and had faith in the soccer program to succeed.”… Father played basketball for Wake Forest and brother, Cameron, plays basketball at Lee University… enjoys drawing, painting and sculpting…. chose Vanderbilt over Stetson, Kentucky and Georgia.

Coach Ambrose on Kaylann: “Kaylann has the physical tools to compete in the SEC immediately. In addition to her physical presence up top, she has good ideas with the ball and has a nose for goal. She is a product of the very successful Tophat club, under the guidance of Troy Garner and Ted Colburn.”
