2016: Saw action in 18 games in her debut season… Named SEC Freshman of the Week on Sept. 19… Capped year in a Three-way tie for first place in goals with five on the season… Earned one game-winning goal, which came at Mississippi State in double-overtime (‘104)… Second on the team in points with 12… Earned two assists; versus Murray State and LSU.
Personal: Began playing soccer at the age of four… played club for Shahaab Langroudi at New York Soccer Club… came to Vanderbilt because, “Vanderbilt offers high caliber academics, advanced research opportunities and competitive athletics.”… Father played soccer and hockey at New York Institute of Technology, mother played Volleyball at Iona College… loves to draw, hike, scrapbook, decorate and going to concerts… chose Vanderbilt over Harvard, Elon, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Lehigh, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, and Providence College.
Coach Ambrose on Hannon: “Hannon’s pace and power will allow to her compete right out of the gate this fall. She is a competitor in every aspect of the game and will compete early on to get into the lineup. She has a strikers’ instincts in front of goal.”
