Pasfield discusses first week of practice

Commodores opened preseason on Jan. 14

NASHVILLE - Senior goalkeeper Chelsea Pasfield stopped by to talk with vucommodores.com before heading out for the third day of spring practice.

A native of Alexandria, Va., Pasfield appeared in five games last season and earned a pair of starts at Northwestern and New Hampshire. She played over 500 minutes as a sophomore in 2011, earning three victories in seven starts.

Pasfield is one of three team captains elected by her peers this season.

Vanderbilt opens the 2013 season on Sunday, Feb. 3, with a trip to face Jackonsville University.
