Three 'Dores named WGCA All-Scholars

Vanderbilt women's golfers Rene Sobolewski, Morgan Ransom, and Antonia Scherer were named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar team for their work in the classroom in the 2013-14 season. The three Commodores selected mark the ninthth consecutive season the Commodores have had a player named to the exclusive team.

The NGCA's All-Scholar team is one of the more prestigious academic honor lists in collegiate sports - student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5.  The team consists of all three NCAA divisions with 664 women's collegiate golfers recognized.

The honor is the third for Sobolewski, who was also named to the team as a sophomore and a junior previously.  Sophomore Morgan Ransom and freshman Antonia Scherer made their first appearances on the team in 2013-14.
