#8 VU to compete in Bryan National

The Commodore women's golf team will compete in one of the strongest fields of the season this Friday through Sunday at the Bryan National Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C.  The tournament is hosted by UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest, and will take place at the par-72, 6,386-yard Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center Champions Course.

Vanderbilt, currently ranked eighth in the latest Golfweek rankings, will compete against #7 Arkansas, Auburn, #2 Duke, #6 Florida, Florida State, #19 Georgia, Louisville, #24 Michigan State, #11 North Carolina, #22 North Carolina State, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, #17 Virginia, and Wake Forest.

The Commodores will send senior Lauren Stratton, junior Rene Sobolewski, sophomores Irina Gabasa and Kendall Martindale, and freshman Jenny Hahn to compete as their starting five.

Tee times begin at 8:20 a.m. ET on Friday and Saturday, with a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.  Live scoring will be available all weekend on Golfstat.com.
