Day two complete in Athens

Vanderbilt in a tie for 15th place heading into final round Sunday.

The Commodores carded a team score of 305 and fell to a tie for 15^th place after the second round of the Liz Murphey Fall Preview in Athens. Vanderbilt is tied with South Carolina.

Senior Lauren Stratton led Vanderbilt Saturday with an even-par, 72, and is in a tie for 10^th on the individual leaderboard with a 145 (73-72). Kendall Martindale is in a tie for 26^th after a second-round 74 and a 148 total (74-74=148), with Jenny Hahn in a tie for 40^th (73-78=151), Rene Sobolewski in a tie for 85^th (77-84=161), and Irina Gabasa in a tie for 89^th (82-81=163).

Auburn maintains its lead with a team total of 580 (287-293) by five strokes over Alabama. The Tigers’ Marta Sanz leads all individuals with a four-under par, 140 (71-69).

Vanderbilt will tee off at 8:50 a.m. Eastern time off of the number 10 tee. Scoring can be found at Golfstat.com the rest of the weekend.
