As a Freshman (2017-18)
One of three key contributing true freshmen... Green shot a 54-hole total of 230 (75-74-81) to finish T-79th at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional... She finished in a tie for 52nd in the SEC Championship stroke play with a three-day total of 234... After helping the Commodores into the SEC Championship Match Play, Green lost a quarterfinal match to Alabama’s Kristen Gillman... She finished in a tie for 37th place at the Brickyard Challenge (231 total for 54 holes), helping the Commodores capture their first team title in nearly three years... She helped Vanderbilt to a fourth-place team finish at the Clemson Invitational in late March, shooting a 54-hole total of 217 (70-73-74)... She finished in a tie for 25th in the individual competition at Clemson... She helped the Dores to a 11th-place team finish at the difficult Darius Rucker Intercollegiate played on Hilton Head Island... She finished T-73 for the tournament with a three-day total of 20-over 233... She posted her best collegiate performance in the first spring tournament, earning a tie for third in the individual standings at the UCF Challenge... Her total of 216 (73-70-73) topped the Commodores and helped the squad to a fourth-place result at the UCF event... Green posted a 74.92 stroke average in four fall tournaments... In her collegiate debut, Green shot a 229 total to finish T-37th at the Ocean Course Invitational at Kiawah Island... At the Mason Rudolph Championships, she finished with a three-over total of 219, good for 44th place... She posted totals of 224 and 227 at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational and Battle at the Beach Invitational, respectively.
Capped stellar four-time prep career at Fairhope HS by claiming medalist honors in record-breaking fashion at the 2017 Alabama 7A State Golf Championships... Shattered state 36-hole scoring record with back-to-back rounds of 66... As senior, named Alabama Golf Association's Girls Golfer of the Year and Al.com's Coastal Alabama Female Golfer of the Year... Also earned U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and 2016-17 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Girls Golf Teams... Earlier in final season at Fairhope, shot a 9-under 61 at sectionals tournament to set a new state girls' record for lowest competitive round... Remarkable prep career includes three individual titles... Advanced to match play at 2017 U.S. Girls' Junior Open...
