Experience: Third Season at Vanderbilt

Bio: Tracy Parsons enters her third season as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt. She joined the Commodore women's golf program prior to the 2004 campaign.
Parsons plays a key role in the program, planning and coordinating "Commodore Golf Day," the annual fundraiser for both the men's and women's golf programs. She also keys the organizational efforts for the annual Mason Rudolph Women's Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club and serves as recruiting coordinator.
Parsons also played a large part in Vanderbilt's planning and managing for the 2006 Southeastern Conference Women's Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club.
Parsons came to Vanderbilt from nearby Belmont University, where she served as a graduate assistant with the women's golf team since August 2003. She holds Bachelor of Arts (2002) and Master of Education in Sport Administration (2003) degrees from Belmont. Parsons played college golf at Belmont and also at Western Kentucky, where she began her collegiate career.
Parsons, a Brentwood native, was previously the Program Director for the Tennessee Golf Foundation, based at the Golf House of Tennessee in Franklin. There she organized and implemented programs to introduce beginning junior golfers to the game and planned junior tournaments.
