As a freshman (2017-18)
One of three key contributing true freshmen for the Commodores... Baxendale finished T-34th at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, ranking as the second low Commodore... She posted rounds of 72, 74 and 72 for a 54-hole total of 218... She was the third lowest freshman scorer at SEC Championship, finishing T-15th with a 54-hole stroke play total of 221... Helped the Commodores advance to SEC Match Play with seventh-place team result in stroke play... In quarterfinal match play action Baxendale defeated Alabama’s Lakareber Abe 2&1... In her last competition before the SEC Championship, Baxendale posted rounds of 73, 69 and 71 for a 54-hole total of 213 (3-under) to win the Brickyard Collegiate April 10 in Macon, Ga... With the win, she became the first Commodore medalist in nearly three years... She also claimed SEC Freshman of the Week honors after the Brickyard Collegiate performance... Baxendale’s superb play at the Brickyard Collegiate also was instrumental in helping Vanderbilt to its first team title since 2016... She posted rounds of 71-72-75 for a two-over 218 total at Clemson Invitational, helping Vanderbilt to a fourth-place team result... She was the Commodores' fourth low scorer at Clemson, tying for 30th place in the individual competition... She shared team's co-medalist honors at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, posting three-round total of 11-over 224... Registered rounds of 74-73-77 to earn T-28 individual finish in windy, cool conditions on difficult Pete Dye Course at Hilton Head's Long Cove Club... In first spring tournament wearing Black & Gold, she helped the Commodores to a fourth-place team finish at the UCF Challenge by shooting a 6-over total of 222... Baxendale's 1-under 71 in the second round helped result in a tie for 22nd in the UCF Challenge individual standings...finished in a tie for 22nd in the individualor the Commodores... Baxendale ranked among the team's top five individuals in all four fall tournaments... She finished the fall with a 73.83 stroke average... Baxendale opened the season with a 22nd place finish at Kiawah's Ocean Course Invitational, shooting a 54-hole total of 227 over the difficult layout... She returned to shoot even-par 216 at the Mason Rudolph Championships, helping the Commodores to an impressive fourth-place team finish... She also ranked among the team's top three scorers in the last two fall tournaments, shooting 218 at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational and 222 in the Battle at the Beach Invitational.
Team captain of one of Florida's top girls' golf programs... Ranked No. 16 in Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Girls Rankings in March 2017... Named Spectum Sports' 2017 Central Florida Girls Golf of the Year Earned team's Athletic of the Year after five tournament... As senior helped The First Academy to second place team result at Florida 1A state tournament, including fifth place individual finish at tourney... Finished sixth at Florida Girls' Junior Championship following senior campaign... Captured the Honda Junior Classic in 2015... Captured 2016 1A regional individual title... Won the prestigious Florida State Girls 13-15 Junior Championship prior to sophomore year... A four-time FSGA Florida Cup selection... Qualified for the 2015 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship, and second alternate for the 2015 U.S. Women's Open.
