Martindale, in her first collegiate campaign, averaged 74.9 strokes per round in 10 tournaments this season in being named to the All-Freshman team. Her best finish this year was a tie for 21st at the Central District Invitational in Tampa, Fla...Her low round of the season came in the final round of the Cougar Classic in Charleston, when she fired a 71.
Amateur and High School Highlights: Won five AJGA titles during her junior career before arriving at Vanderbilt and in September of 2010, she claimed the 2010 TSSAA Division 1 AAA State Championship for her Jefferson County High School... Ranked sixth by the AJGA Polo Golf Rankings in the class of 2011, Martindale captured the AJGA Woodward Video Junior at The Greenbrier, the TGA Tennessee Girls Junior Amateur Championship in July of 2010, and the 2010 Joe Cheves Junior Invitational at Mimosa Hills with a record-setting 68-67=135...Also posted four career AJGA national victories, which included the 2010 AJGA Rolex Junior All-American earlier this year.
