STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - Vanderbilt's Natalie Goodman was selected for Junior Team USA for the second consecutive year as the North Pointe Junior Gold Tournament came to a conclusion.
Goodman finished third in the huge national tournament and was an at-large pick by the United States Bowling Congress committee. She is joined by Junior Gold champion Julia Bond of Aurora, Ill., Sarah Lokker, who bowls for Arkansas State, Elise Bolton, a member of Nebraska's team and Breanna Clemmer of Clover, S.C., the first player to be selected from the U15 division.
Junior Team USA members have the opportunity to train at various times of the year at the USBC's Training and Research Center in Dallas as well as represent the United States in international competitions. Goodman also becomes eligible to compete in the World Youth Championship next year in Hong Kong.
