LAS VEGAS---Team USA is leading at the halfway mark in team competition at the Pan American Bowling Confederation Adult Championship heading into Friday's final team games and Vanderbilt's Josie Earnest once again turned in a strong performance.
Earnest finds herself in sixth place (out of the 90 international bowlers) in the All Events category after posting a 620 total in three team games Thursday. Teammate Liz Johnson is leading the All Events after a monster day in which she posted a 785 three-game total. Stephanie Nation of Team USA is second, Earnest sixth, Shannon Pluhowsky seventh, Leanne Hulsenberg 11th and Diandra Asbaty 23rd.
All Events is a combination of the week's competition, factoring in scores in singles, doubles, trios and team to determine an average. Earnest is averaging 217.00 while Johnson is at 225.67.
