Angela's Angle - 12/7

Angela's Angle Archive

Junior guard Angela Puleo is writing a season-long blog for A native of Maryville, Tenn., Puleo is in her first year playing with the Commodores after having to sit out last year due to NCAA transfer rules.

We were all excited about our trip to Denver since we knew that Hannah's family would be there to support the 'Dores. It's always fun to see where your teammates live and meet members of their family that we don't have the opportunity to see very often. Also I wanted to thank the other Vandy fans that came to see us play, even though we really wish the outcome had been different.

I looked forward to seeing Denver and the Rocky Mountains. I live at the foot of the Smoky Mountains so I wondered how they compared. The Rockies really were breathtaking and huge! My dad has told me about the area because he played baseball in Denver when my sister, Meredith, was a baby. I liked what I saw and hope to go back sometime.

Everyone is busy with the semester coming to an end. It's always hectic but somehow we get everything finished.

Hope to see all of you at the Memorial Gym this week.

Go 'Dores!
