Game Preview

DENVER, Colo. – Vanderbilt’s women’s basketball team arrived in the Mile High City Saturday night in preparation for Sunday’s game against Denver University (3 p.m. CT).

However, before boarding their flight to Denver on Saturday, members of the team posed for a photo (above) at the Nashville airport with Santa Claus.

Once arriving in Denver, the team was greeted at the hotel by family members of senior forward Hannah Tuomi, who hails from Thornton, Colo. (just north of Denver). Tuomi expects to have a large contingent of supporters at Sunday’ game, which will be Tuomi’s first in her home state since high school.

Sunday morning the team attended shootaround at Denver’s Magness Arena, which also serves as the home for Denver’s hockey team.
