Take A Kid to the Game promotion for Sunday's contest

Nov. 19, 2013

After traveling to No. 2/2 Duke Thursday for the team's first road game of the season, Vanderbilt's women's basketball team will return home Sunday to host Dayton at 2 p.m.

Both the Commodores (3-1) and Flyers (2-2) are currently receiving votes in the polls with Dayton ranked No. 24 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Vanderbilt will be seeking to avenge last season's 71-66 loss at Dayton last November. The two teams each advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2013.

Commodore fans will have an opportunity to take part in a few promotions Sunday. The game has been tabbed for Vanderbilt's Take A Kid to the Game promotion (TAKG). The promotion enables fans to purchase one discounted adult ticket for $6.00 and receive a complimentary youth ticket (18 and under).

To take advantage of this offer, click here and enter the code "TAKG" when prompted for a discount code. Tickets are reserved seats in Section K.

Additionally, to help get fans into the holiday spirit, the first 500 people in attendance Sunday will receive a Vanderbilt women's basketball ornament.
