Last week, Vanderbilt women's basketball players Stephanie Holzer, Kristen Gaffney and Kady Schrann headed to downtown Nashville to take in the annual Country Music Association Awards. VUCommodores.com tagged along as the players asked fans for their predictions, gave a few of their own and even had a brush with fame.

The No. 16/17 Commodores open the 2012-13 season on Saturday, November 10, when they host McNeese State. Tipoff is set for Noon at Memorial Gym.
