Catching up with the Commodores: Merideth Marsh

Are you curious what some of the former Vanderbilt players are doing these days? We are providing answers to that question this week with our "Catching up with the Commodores" package.

The package -- which continues today with an interview of Merideth Marsh -- is spotlighting a handful of popular players from the past. Some of the players have returned to campus recently to serve as instructors during the various camps being hosted by the WBB program.

Here is the "Catching up with Commodores" schedule for the week, with a different player -- all of whom were fan favorites at Memorial Gym -- being featured each day:

MARSH AT VANDERBILT
• Saw action in 134 games in her career, including 96 starts
• Scored 1,332 career points and ranks No. 21 on the program's all-time scoring list
• Was named All-SEC Second Team (coaches) as a senior and junior
• Ranks No. 2 on the program's list for career 3-pointers (256)
• Led the Commodores in scoring as a senior, averaging 15.1 ppg
• Reached double figures in scoring in 28 games -- including 11 straight -- as a senior • Shot 84 percent from the foul line in her career (244-of-288)
