Catching up with the Commodores: Elan Brown

Are you curious what some of the former Vanderbilt players are doing these days? We are providing answers to that question this week with our "Catching up with the Commodores" package.

The package -- which continues today with an interview of Elan Brown -- is spotlighting a handful of popular players from the past. Some of the players recently returned to campus to serve as instructors during various camps being hosted by the WBB program.

Here is the "Catching up with Commodores" schedule for the week, with a different player -- all of whom were fan favorites at Memorial Gym -- being featured each day:

Monday: Tiffany Clarke interview (Here)
TUESDAY: Elan Brown interview
Wednesday: Gabby Smith interview
Thursday: Merideth Marsh interview
Friday: Caroline Williams interview

BROWN AT VANDERBILT
• Saw action in 129 games in her VU career, including 69 games in the starting lineup
• Shot 74 percent from the foul line for her career (127-of-171)
• Three-time selection to SEC Academic Honor Roll
• Was one of three players to start all 33 games as a senior
• Finished 2013 regular season 20th in the SEC in rebounding (5.7 per game)
• Second on team with 41 steals as a senior
• Finished second on team in minutes played as a senior
• Member of SEC All-Freshmen Team
• Two career double-doubles
