Vanderbilt punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the 14th consecutive season Monday night to become one of eight teams to accomplish the feat since 2000.
And this year may have been the toughest on the Commodores. With an injury list severe enough to wreck most postseason dreams, making the tournament wasn't guaranteed. But once again, Vanderbilt will be wearing its dancing shoes.
"We haven't played our best basketball," head coach Melanie Balcomb said, "and we're still getting healthier. This time off was an advantage for us. I think our best game is yet to come."
