Take a look back at Vanderbilt's trip to Southern Cal and a fun moment before shoot around.

With the Vanderbilt women's basketball team enjoying their second and final bye of SEC play today, VUCommodores.com will take a break to offer something a little more fun.

When the team arrives at a road venue early for shoot around on gameday, one of the most popular ways to pass the time has become for senior guard Gabby Smith to attempt an over-the-shoulder, half court shot. The shot was made at Southern Cal, but it wasn't by Smith. Take a look:

The Commodores are back in action on Sunday, February 10, when they host No. 10/8 Kentucky. Tipoff is set for 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Gym and it will serve as Vanderbilt's annual Pink Out game to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
