Long before most of the Super Bowl gatherings get started, it will already be a Super Sunday at Memorial Gym.

In what is always a meaningful day for the Commodores and their fans, the Vanderbilt women's basketball program will host its annual Pink Out festivities -- which help promote the fight against breast cancer -- on Sunday. The festivities will be held before, during and after the 1 p.m. game against Texas A&M.

New York Life is the presenting sponsor of this year's Pink Out game.

Anyone wearing pink can purchase a ticket for $1, and the first 700 fans through the doors at Memorial Gym will receive pink T-shirts. Pink shakers, buttons and cheer cards will be given away. And be on the look out for the Commodores themselves to incorporate some pink into the color scheme of their uniforms.

Before the game, fans can visit the Kid Zone -- a designated play area for children that includes inflatables, cotton candy, face tattoos and more.

Fans can also look for the T-shirt toss, gold-shaker give-away and can get their Frequent-Fan card punched. Immediately after the game, the Vanderbilt players will throw miniature basketballs into the stands.

After the game, the players will have a brief cool-down period and will then return to the floor to sign autographs.
