Jan. 23, 2013

All three members of Vanderbilt women's basketball program's latest signing class have been nominated for the 2013 McDonald's All-American Game.

Rebekah Dahlman (Braham, Minn.), Kylee Smith (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Marques Webb (Hoover, Ala.) are among the 340 players who will be considered for 24 spots in the annual game. Webb was the only player from Alabama on the list, while Dahlman was one of just three Minnesotans.

The McDonalds All-American games are held annually showcasing the best boys and girls high school players in the nation. This year's game will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Ill., home of the NBA's Chicago Bulls, on April 3.

The final roster of 24 players will be announced live on ESPNU during the McDonalds All-American Games Selection Show on Thursday, February 14, at 4:00 p.m. CT.

Center Stephanie Holzer was the most recent Commodore to be selected to play in the McDonald's All-American Game, making the roster for the 2009 game but not appearing due to injury.

On the current roster, Tiffany Clarke, Christina Foggie, Jasmine Lister, Clair Watkins, Morgan Batey, Jasmine Jenkins, Rayte'a Long and Kendall Shaw were all nominated for the game.
