Red Panda and more Thursday

On Thursday at 8:00 p.m., the Vanderbilt women's basketball team hosts the most common opponent in program history when No. 9 Tennessee comes to Memorial Gym. Come be a part of Memorial Magic!

Halftime entertainment will be provided by the famous Red Panda Acrobat. If you're not familiar with her, check out the video below and prepare to be amazed.

Employee Celebration & Ticket Information

The game is part of the Vanderbilt University Employee Celebration. While reservations for Vanderbilt families and their employees have filled up, any unclaimed tickets will be released at the start of the game.

Employees who get unclaimed tickets can receive up to four free tickets for their immediate family when presenting their University or Med Center ID cards. Employees are encouraged to wear black and gold, but should note that any fans wearing orange or University of Tennessee logos will not be given free tickets.

Tickets can also still be purchased through the Vanderbilt ticket office. The cost is $25.00 and they can be purchased by calling 615-322-GOLD or by clicking here.

hoops for kids logo Also a reminder that the women's basketball program is collecting items at the door on behalf of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.The team will accept donations of:

- Crayloa Crayons (packs of eight)
- Small Legos (individual sets or large containers of small bricks)
- Picture Books (hard-bound board books for ages five-and-under)
- Play-Doh
- Infant toys with lights and sounds
- Thomas the Train toys for train table
- I-Spy Books
- UNO Cards
- Individual crafts kits

Items are being collected at all home games for the duration of the season.
