Sorry about the lack of blogs lately. I have been on a bit of a hiatus. As you all probably know, we are struggling as of late with two straight games that we felt like we were more than capable of winning.
We went to a holiday tournament at Virginia Tech and were able to stop by the Memorial for the shooting victims of the terrible mass murder that happened several years back. Being able to see the names and biographies of those 32 innocent lives that were lost was very touching. At times we get so caught up in our lives and in our routines and problems that we need something like the Virginia Tech Memorial to remind us how precious time with those we love truly is. In life not everything happens exactly according to plan, but it is how you rebound from the adversity that builds character. Getting up every single day is a privilege and not guaranteed and we should all try to take in the little moments that everyday life brings us.
We also had our team Christmas party last night. Secret Santa is always exciting and let's be honest...any time that presents and food are involved it's a plus. As SEC play begins, the season will fly by and our team WILL improve from our previous outings and learn from every win and loss we have suffered thus far. I hope to see you all against Mississippi State tonight and Sunday for Auburn. Again, your support means so much to us.
