On pregame mentality:
"We wanted to have a much more aggressive mentality. We worked really hard this week and pushed our players to their limits. We didn't have any fight back when we played Michigan, so we worked on our fighting mentality. The second half we really came out and were aggressive defensively."

On the development of the defense:
"They've been pretty inconsistent, just like our offense. But it's still early; it's still November. We need to become more confident so we can be more aggressive. We have to trust each other more. We've been playing so many different defenses and I think it's time we figure out what is going to be our best defensive combination, Our lineups are changing constantly and you can see that we're still trying to figure ourselves out."
