    Starting Lineup
    • Vanderbilt started freshman Jasmine Lister, sophomore Elan Brown, and senior Jence Rhoads at guard while sophomore Tiffany Clarke and senior Hannah Tuomi started at forward.
    • This is the 11th different starting lineup the Commodores have used this year
    • Lister and Tuomi are the only players to start all 32 games this season.
    • Tuomi made her team-leading 115th career start while Rhoads made her team-leading 130th appearance.
    • Brown appeared in her 63rd game, making her 13th start, while Clarke made her 66th appearance and 32nd start.
    • This is Brown’s first start since cracking the starting lineup in the first two games of the season.

    Postgame Notes:
    • Vanderbilt had won at least one NCAA Tournament game the last 11 seasons.
    • Vanderbilt now holds an 8-4 record against the Louisville Cardinals and a 1-1 mark when playing at a neutral site.
    • The Commodores fall to 1-1 when playing the Cardinals in the postseason.
    • Louisville’s 60.0% (30-for-50) shooting from the field marked the highest percentage of the season for an opponent, topping the previous high of 56.3% (27-for-48) set by Denver on December 5.
    • The 30 field goals made by Louisville were the most a non-conference opponent had this season, two more than Virginia Tech made on December 20.
    • Vanderbilt’s 19 rebounds are a season low, breaking the previous low of 24 set against Florida State on November 21, 2010.
    • The Commodores had 12 steals, matching a season-high set against Quinnipiac on November 26.
    • Vanderbilt’s 12 first half field goals are the most it has made in the first half since making 14 against Georgia on February 10.
    • Louisville’s 41 first-half points are the second most Vanderbilt has given up this year in the first half; three points shy of Bowling Green’s mark of 44 set on December 1, 2010.
    • The Cardinals shot 51.7% (15-for-29) in the first half and became only the second team this season to shoot 50% or better in the first half against the Commodores. Denver had the season-high percentage of 63.2% when they went 12-for-19 on December 5, 2010.
    • Vanderbilt held Louisville’s bench to one point in the first half.

    First-half notes:
    Tiffany Clarke made a jump shot at the 19:23 mark to record Vanderbilt’s first points of the game.
    Stephanie Holzer notched two points at the 13:59 mark to record the first bench points of the game.
    • Trailing 13-11 with 12:32 remaining, Gabby Smith hit a jumper to tie the game up.
    Tiffany Clarke made a layup with 2:51 remaining to cut Louisville’s lead to 33-26.
    Gabby Smith led the team with eight points while Jence Rhoads and Tiffany Clarke had a team-leading two rebounds.

    • The Commodores head into half-time trailing 41-26.

    • Vanderbilt went on a 12-0 run that spanned 3:12 and cut the Louisville lead to 49-44.

    Player notes:
    Elan Brown had a career-high five assists, topping her previous best of four.
    Gabby Smith recorded her third double-digit point game of the season and first since scoring 10 against Duquesne on December 19.
    • Smith’s 11 points were seven shy of her career-high of 18 set against UT-Martin on December 9, 2010.
    • Smith’s two 3-point field goals were the most she has had since making two against Alabama on January 13.
