Personal: Son of Mike and Joy DeFabrizio. Sam enjoys writing and wants to be a published author in the future. He swam competitively for a number of years before switching to running full time; he now does triathlons in his free time. Sam considers himself "an aspiring good person" and "a dabbler in many things but an expert in none."
