Vandy wraps up road trip at Kentucky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The 26th-ranked Vanderbilt men's tennis team wraps up its four-match road trip on Sunday at No. 14 Kentucky.

Vanderbilt (13-7, 4-5 SEC) is coming off a thrilling 4-3 win over Auburn last Sunday. Last season the Commodores upset the No. 8 Wildcats in Nashville.

Gonzales Austin and Ryan Lipman remain the only two singles players in the rankings with Austin at No. 17 and Lipman at No. 57. Together they make up the fourth-ranked doubles team in the country.

Kentucky (15-7, 7-2 SEC) is coming off a midweek doubleheader split against No. 11 Illinois and Northern Kentucky. The only two conference losses of the season for Kentucky have come on the road against Georgia and Alabama.

Tom Jomby comes in as the top Kentucky singles player at No. 11 in the country. He is joined by two other in the ITA singles rankings, Alejandro Gomez (No. 85) and Beck Pennington (No. 90).

Jomby along with Kevin Lai are the No. 31 ranked doubles team in the country.
