Comodores drop 4-3 to Harvard
Feb. 3, 2012 The Harvard Crimson handed the No. 34 Commodores a difficult 4-3 loss earlier today, as the two played the first of their weekend’s matches on Indiana’s campus in Bloomington. “We played a great match,” said Head Coach Ian Duvenhage. “It was a great college tennis match, and it was a shame someone had to lose it, but it was a great experience for us, and we will learn from it.” The Commodores, after winning the doubles point, came down to the final match on the final court, where the Dores dropped a third set for the loss. Senior Charlie Jones and sophomore Blake Bazarnik each won their singles points, Jones in straight sets and Bazarnik 6-1 in the third. Vanderbilt will face Indiana on Sunday at noon. Results:
