Shaw's 60 leads to Top 10 finish

Vanderbilt Men's Golf Head Coach Tom Shaw had an impressive showing in the Capital City Invitational, held last week at McCabe Golf Course in Nashville. Shaw made headlines with an opening-round 60 on the north and middle nines at McCabe, carding 12 birdies against only two bogeys.

Shaw would finish in the Top 10 among the professionals at the 54-hole pro/am event. Earlier this summer, Shaw also had solid outings at the Tennessee State Open and advanced through a local qualifying event for the U.S. Open.
